About this pandal
Sonali Shibir of Garbalia, beside the Sankrail–Munshirhat road, is one of the biggest of the roughly 200 Kali Pujas in the Balia villages of Jagatballavpur — an area where there is no Durga Puja but Kali Puja is celebrated like a three-day festival.

Metro & rail
Balia is in Jagatballavpur, about 1.5 hours by road from Howrah — go by car or bus; roads are crowded on Kali Puja night.
Bus routes
Howrah Station is a major bus terminus. Routes connect to Bally, Liluah, Shibpur and Kolkata across the river.
Parking
Howrah Maidan and foreshore areas have temporary Puja parking zones. Howrah Station area is congested — park away from station approach roads when possible.
