About this pandal
Nabapally Bayam Samity is one of Barasat’s oldest Kali Pujas — it celebrated its 73rd year in 2024 with the theme “Golden Age of History” and an eleven-armed idol. The pandal is held on a spacious ground and is known for very tall idols and dazzling lighting.

Metro & rail
No Metro in Barasat — take a Sealdah–Barasat local train (about 45 min) to Barasat Junction, then walk or take a toto/auto between pandals.
Bus routes
Jessore Road (NH-12) buses run to Barasat Champadali More from Dum Dum, Airport and Madhyamgram.
Parking
Street parking near festival pandals is limited during peak Puja evenings. Arrive before 6 PM or use app navigation to find paid parking lots within walking distance. Avoid blocking residential lanes.
