A walk through Thailand: the main pandal sat on a dragon-prowed ship inspired by Thailand’s dragon festival, with plywood carving inside resembling a white-stone palace, and an idol from Chakdaha in about 60 kg of gold ornaments.

Metro & rail
No Metro in Naihati — take a Sealdah–Naihati local train (about 50 min) to Naihati Junction, then walk or take a toto between pandals.
Bus routes
WBTC and private buses run extended services during Durga Puja. Check Kolkata traffic updates on Puja nights; many roads are one-way or pedestrian-only near major pandals.
Parking
Street parking near festival pandals is limited during peak Puja evenings. Arrive before 6 PM or use app navigation to find paid parking lots within walking distance. Avoid blocking residential lanes.
