The Tematha puja near Jyotir More, more than a century old, has the largest idol in this part of Chandannagar — about 30 ft tall in gold daker saaj — affectionately called Rani Ma.

Metro & rail
No Metro — take a Howrah–Bandel line local to Chandannagar or Mankundu station (about 45 min), then walk; the town is closed to vehicles in the evenings during the puja.
Bus routes
WBTC and private buses run extended services during Durga Puja. Check Kolkata traffic updates on Puja nights; many roads are one-way or pedestrian-only near major pandals.
Parking
Street parking near festival pandals is limited during peak Puja evenings. Arrive before 6 PM or use app navigation to find paid parking lots within walking distance. Avoid blocking residential lanes.
